Sietto was established in 2005, with the hope of creating beautiful hand crafted glass decorative hardware. All of our products are proudly made in our studios in Chicago, IL. Maybe we could make a higher profit by producing everything overseas, but that goes against what we believe in at Sietto. Perhaps it’s a bit ironic that our name is derived from two Italian words, but that is only because our products have an Italian air to them. It’s important to us to manufacture our products in the United States, partially because it means offering a U.S. citizen a job opportunity, but also because it allows us to keep a close eye on every aspect of our business. We take great pride in ensuring that every product that we make for a customer is done right. It’s all in the details. Of course, nothing in this world can be perfect, but we strive to come as close to it as possible, not only with the quality of our products, but with the way in which we handle our day to day operations. We simply don’t feel that we could achieve that if our products were made thousands of miles away. The best word to describe our hardware would probably be “classic”. Some of our products are very vibrant, while some have just a hint of color. But we feel that when you select Sietto decorative hardware, you are choosing something that will look beautiful and last a lifetime. We offer our products in many shapes, sizes and styles, as well as offering three base finishes that are attached to the back of the hardware. We strive to improve our business every day. This might mean the introduction of new products, or finding new and improved ways to package our hardware, or making adjustments through feedback that we receive via customer reviews. At the end of the day, we are not succeeding if our customers aren’t happy. Our company is nearly seven years old, so we’ve been around long enough to understand how to make a quality product, But in many ways, we feel we are just beginning. We have so many new styles of hardware to create, so many new customers to reach. Each day is a new day, a day to make all of this happen at Sietto.
